Workforce Development Program

Phase 1: Enrollment and Assessment (Weeks 1-2)

  • Sign-Up Process:
    • Provide online and in-person registration options.
    • Collect information on participant goals, needs, and interests.
  • Orientation Session:
    • Overview of the program, timelines, and resources available.
    • Introduction to staff, mentors, and community partners.
  • Initial Assessment:
    • Career aptitude tests (e.g., MyMajors, OnetOnline.org).
    • Identification of individual strengths, challenges, and career interests.

Phase 2: Assistance in Document Recovery (Weeks 3-4)

    • Help participants obtain essential documents like IDs, social security cards, and work permits.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work with local agencies and schools for expedited document retrieval services.
  • Outcome:
    • Ensure every participant is document-ready for employment or educational opportunities.

  • Mentorship Program: Assign mentors to guide participants through the first 90 days of their new roles.

Youth "Bridge the Gap" Program
